-
In practice, what are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the relationships I have fostered with my patients and the trust they have given me to care for them.
-
Why did you choose to work in the field of reproductive medicine?
I was first interested in REI in medical school due to the complex science of reproduction. In residency, I realized that I love working with and helping infertility patients during their infertility journey, which can be one of the most vulnerable, frustrating, and isolating times of their lives.
The field of REI is relatively new within the medical profession. We are constantly evolving and learning as physicians, both academically and directly from our patients. I also love that the field allows me to participate in patient advocacy locally and nationally.
-
What is your approach to medicine?
I believe in a patient-centered approach, in which the needs of the patient come first. I believe in shared decision-making to create the treatment plan that best helps my patients reach their family-building goals instead of a one-size-fits-all treatment.
-
Share something unique people don't know about you.
I was the Ohio State Homecoming Queen in 2010.

What do you do for fun in your spare time?
In my free time, I like to hike, go to title boxing and take reformer pilates classes for exercise. I love top chef and enjoy learning to cook. I love finding new local restaurants and Nashville has the best food of any city I’ve ever lived in before.
