This quote from American author Willa Cather, inscribed on the wall of our lab, perfectly describes why we do what we do. Our laboratory team — with a cumulative 85+ years of experience in andrology and embryology — is committed to bringing the highest level of expertise to patients alongside an unwavering desire to support their journeys.
Great care requires a great laboratory. Our Franklin and Nashville andrology and embryology laboratories are state-licensed and CAP-accredited. We have stringent quality control standards and are regulated by governing bodies, such as the State of Tennessee and the College of American Pathology.
In addition, our Franklin lab is a class 100 cleanroom, which provides optimal culture conditions for the growth of our embryos. Specific to IVF patients, we offer group culture of embryos in triple gas incubators that are designed to better replicate the natural environment that the body would provide. Our satellite laboratory in Nashville is also CLIA-certified.

Our cryopreserved specimens are housed in commercial dewars, which are monitored 24 hours a day with a dual monitoring system for a deeper level of safety and security. Our embryologists are on call 24 hours a day every day of the year.
Our semen analysis goes beyond the conventional analysis and looks into the DNA. Our doctors and fertility specialists look at DNA fragmentation, levels of reactive oxygen species, and immaturity within the sperm.
In addition to sperm analysis, we offer sperm preparation with both traditional approaches and more cutting-edge ones, such as the Zymot device. We offer short and long-term sperm cryopreservation and storage.
Based on a patient’s unique medical history and fertility goals, we may recommend any of the following treatments and technologies that we can perform in-house:
