Cryostorage Protocols

Advanced Cryo Monitoring for Your Reproductive Materials at TFI

Ensuring the safety and integrity of your precious reproductive materials—embryos, eggs, and sperm—is paramount at all Prelude Network® clinics, including Tennessee Fertility Institute. We understand the importance of preserving your reproductive tissues and use cutting-edge technology to keep them secure.

Early Tank Retirement

While the industry typically allows for cryo tanks to be in use for up to 30 years, at TFI we retire ours after just 10 years. This extra precaution reduces the risk of tank failure and ensures that your reproductive materials are stored in the best possible conditions.

Dual Temperature Monitoring

TFI uses both internal and external temperature monitoring systems for our cryo tanks. This dual-layer approach allows us to identify and address any temperature irregularities before they pose a risk to your stored tissues.

Continuous 24-Hour Monitoring & Central Command

Our lab operates with 24-hour continuous monitoring, ensuring round-the-clock oversight. In addition, the Prelude Network's Central Monitoring Command Center (CMCC) provides an extra layer of security, constantly monitoring our systems to maintain their integrity.

Direct Notifications to Leadership

If temperature fluctuations occur, TFI's alert system immediately notifies not only the lab team but also our CEO. This ensures that any potential risks are dealt with quickly and with direct oversight from leadership.

Leading Safety Technology

At TFI, we use advanced safety features, including PharmaWatch™ for comprehensive temperature monitoring, CryoSentinel for external thermographic surveillance, and IVF Cryo-One tanks with built-in alarm systems for additional security.

Our Dedication

Tennessee Fertility Institute is dedicated to providing you with the highest level of care and protection for your cryopreserved tissues, ensuring their safety throughout your fertility journey.
